Well of course many of you were correct when I traded my my 2014 Big Horn for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with a 5.7 that I would really miss my truck. Of course I responded that I’d be okay!!
Well let me be the 1st to say YOU WERE ALL RIGHT. Not that I don’t love the Trailhawk but I am back in the position of needing a truck. I live in the dry desert and will be using the truck in Upper Michigan so I’m shopping here to get an older truck with no rust. Truck will serve as 3rd vehicle so I won’t put a whol lot of miles on it. Towing boat etc. although I said that last time and my Big Horn was so comfortable I preferred it over my SUV.
stumbled upon a 2013 1500 Laramie with all the bells and whistles I wanted with 151,000 miles. There was indication of slight damage on carfax but my biggest concern is a miles discrepancy noted on carfax. Dealer serviced at 147,000 next service says 161,564 but odometer reads 151,465. Will I run into trouble titling it? It does have 8 speed transmission which surprised me since I thought that was a 2014 change.
Price is $18,000
sorry for rambling. Bottom line is what should I be looking for issue wise on this vehicle with higher miles?
thanks in advance to a knucklehead who thought he could do without his Ram. If I could find my Big Horn I would buy it back. Salesman said it was on the lot for an hour before he sold it.
