I've been having this problem for quite some time. As you can hear in the video, the sound is pretty loud. But, it stops when I hit the brakes. My first thoughts are: Wheel bearings and or cv's (the cv's have a bit of play in them). th_2012-03-17_09-20-00_379.jpg
Anyone want to shed some light on this? I need to get this sound fixed, don't want to run into any problems hauling ass through the woods..

hmm, out of all my front end problems, I didn't have that noise. Not sure what that might be. I would get the CV's replaced tho since they shouldn't have play in them.

Oh wow never heard anything like that either and I've had to rebuild my whole front end! Hope ya get it figured out bud! The CVs would be a good start as stated above since I'm pretty sure they shouldn't have play in em though!

Aright I'll check it all out as soon as I can, thanks guys. How much do OEM cv's run? I might just upgrade to the KORE's if they're pretty high priced....

I don't really have need for the shafts, just the joints are shot. So I would be fine with buying only the Kore cv's?

I've just had the entire assembly replaced because the boots have busted open. Not sure about just replacing the joints. Hopefully somebody will chime in about them.

Pretty sure the boots are covered in grease, so I think it's time to replace them.. Anything else worth replacing while I'm at it? 126k on the truck
