Will changing the wheels and tires effect the CAB?
I have a 96 and came across a deal to get a set of 17's w/35's (stock 16 w/225) on them..but since then the antilock and brake light have been on...the brakes work fine and I have gone though everything and cant find anything amiss...so now I'm curiuos if the problem is electronic.

Yes, factory set the speed of the wheel in the BCM (brake control mod) with your factory tire wheel combo. Changing the diameter of that package will change the "speed" of the wheel tire combo. Just going with a different tire size can cause that.
Good news is it wont fail safety inspect, bad news is light wont go off unless you get a tuner that can change that setting or a someone with access to a dealership code scanner to change the setting.

I guess something is wrong with my truck. Had 3 different size of tires on my factory 16's, aftermarket 16's and now the 18's I've got now and never had this issue
