Ive been looking for a different cover for a while now too... Somthing in black to match my truck. Then while at pep boys i saw these bad boys...

I kinda like the middle one... lol
Last time I went four wheelin with my buddies i spent a fair amount of time pullin them out... not only is it functional but it might look tough, be a good anchor point AND double as a step. Anybody tried somethin like that out yet?? lol

Got it from eBay and spray painted it white to match the truck colour.

I had one of the ram head logo ones on my second gen. At least until it got ripped apart backing into my driveway on the steeper side. My new 4th gen will be sitting higher though and will have the factory hitch so it won't hang down as low. Might go with a Jeep logo cover this time around to show of my other vehicular love.

My dads had quite a few of the different light up hitch covers and they all end up broken
I got him a polished aluminum ram head logo one on ebay 3 years ago and its still on his 11 today
It looks like his although the milled part isnt black

Now that's what I call a great tailgater deterrent.

Step is cool but you can only use it with the tailgate up. I've been toying with the idea of getting an AMP step which allows use with the gate down.

I got a super bumper too. I love it a tap me from behind once months ago and need some protection from distracted drivers.

I had that bad boy on my GMC before I traded it in. The receiver lock was seized so I couldnt get it off. It was a great tie off point as well as a step. Solid forged steel and quite heavy. Couldn't beat it for the price.
