The fan on the cooled seats in my Longhorn are noisy....loud enough to be heard with the a/c on low and the radio at 7-8 volume. Both sides are noisy. Is this normal ? Anyone else have this issue ?

I can hear mine, I wouldn’t say they are loud but it is noticeable if you are thinking about it I guess.

It’s an annoying wooshing sound....more noticeable when you turn it off.

Mine sounds like there is a hole underneath the seat and all the road noise is coming in from it.

My 2014 are pretty rowdy when at full blast. I only notice them when the a/c is on lowest or off, and radio is off. If the radio is on at a listening level they disappear

I can't hear mine at all, even with the radio off.
Truck is a 2015.

Can you hear airplanes, freight trains, semi trucks, lawn mowers, or civil war cannons?

I’ve been in literally hundreds of rams with cooled seats ( I work at a dealership in Florida ) and every single one sounds the same on high, and a whisper on low

Yeah, my hearing is fine....I just don't hear the seat fans.

The only thing I have trouble hearing is my wife talking, amazing how I have tuned her out over the last 28 years.

My 16 I have never heard the seats and as mentioned before, it is almost always on high; about the only time it is not on high is when I forget to cycle it from automatically being on low.

So.....Today I was driving my truck and I decided to try and see what the fuss is all about here.
I pulled into a parking lot and turned the A/C fan to the lowest setting and turned of anything else that would make any noise in the cab.
I cycled the seat cooling fans from low to hi a couple of times and I did hear a little bit of blower noise with it on the hi setting, but it was so slight that it wasn't worth talking about.

Sorry guys.....This is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

Can't hear mine, but i'm a little deaf in one ear. Maybe its finally a blessing! It does seem to be controlled by the auto function on the ac. When its not really cooling the seat went off and I didnt touch the controls.

I can hear both of mine but only with the AC low and music off and sitting still. Completely don't hear them at any other time.
