Cooper Discoverer AT3's or Toyo Open Country AT II's?

Wanting to upgrade from the stock crap tires and I'm thinking that I'm gonna put a 2' HBS level on and go with 275/65/R20...just can't decide on Cooper Discoverer AT3's or Toyo Open Country AT II's?

Any input one way or another would be appreciated. I mostly drive hwys but I have a camp so it will see deep snow and rough roads during the winter looking for a good balanced AT tire.

I personally would get the Toyo tires because I think they look a little more aggressive

Both of them have a lot of sipes so they'd be good in the snow and ice, yet the blocks are small enough, they're probably pretty quiet.

You know how I decide? I look on tire rack and read the reviews.

The Toyo will give you more milage out of the tire and I know for a fact if they say the tire goes 65k miles and it doesn't they will stand behind it 100%

I ran the Cooper AT3's on my 08' ram and I loved them. Just a great all around tire. However if the Toyo's had been avil at the time I would have went with the AT2. A little more of an aggresive look.

Tread wear is a big concern for me since either way, it won't be cheap...anybody know about the tread wear on these? Is one better than the other?

I have the AT/IIs in that exact size.

I freakin' love 'em. They ride great, look great too!

I say get the toyos! They're a very good brand with great tires (not saying cooper isn't) but they just look much more aggressive than the AT3's

I am getting the Toyo's because my tire guy for the last two decades recommends them, and I trust the guy completely. He says the Toyo's are quieter because of the tread pattern and also good in rain for the same reason. As for tire wear, that is more on the driver then the tire. I get 70k out of any tire I put on whereas my brother barely gets 10k because he thinks he is in the NASCAR truck series when he is driving on the street. just saying...

I have the coopers on my truck now and love them. I had the toyos on 2 other trucks before this one and loved them too. I never had any issues with ether. Tread pattern is about the same on both.

I've put a couple hundred thousand miles on my last few work trucks running the Coopers. I'm on my 2nd set now on my 2010 Chevy 2500 DMax. They're just a good all around tire. They balance good, wear good and are quiet on the street. I'll be buying another set when I wear these out.

Those are cepeks entry level tires and are extremely loud and rough riding, I had 35 cepek mud country's on a jk and loved them
