Bought 2011 SXT few months back and after a while I started to realize how terrible my headlights are.

Not only is the brightness pretty **** poor, but the trajectory seems to be just as bad. My low beams are almost better than my high beams. My high beams just seem to shine light much higher and way off to the side, without getting any brighter.

I mean when i drive on the highway beside another vehicle their lights pretty much shine the road in front of me for me, you wouldn't even know my truck has lights until I'm the only one on the road.....

Anyone else have this problem? I don't know if its worth getting new bulbs or if its the trajectory that is the issue.

Cheers

Yup our lights suck.

I'd recommend HID's and projectors.

Duals and quads both scatter to much. Projectors are really the only good upgrade but they are pricey.

When I put HIDS in my 2011 SXT it made a world of difference. The HIDS in my 2014 with projectors are much better again. If you don't have a large budget for lights go with an HID drop in kit.

Your other choice is an LED light bar. My 50" is unreal. Doesn't go quite as far as my HID high beam, but it's crazy bright!

You can go better bulbs for sure but sounds like an adjustment would help you right now, owners manual will tell you where the adjust screws are and hieght to set lights at, find a flat wall and set the truck 25 feet back at night and reset them, it will make a world of difference.
