Anyone ever come up with some neat ideas or mods for your trucks?

I recently came up with the idea of making my tail gate open with the touch of a button. I would use the Ezdown tail gate shock and a door lock actuator to safety automate it, using my viper alarm remote.

I did some research and found out that someone came up with the idea on the Tundra forum. So I am most positive that I can get it working on my ram.

My future plans on my truck is to get a bed cover, so this would be like popping the trunk on a car.

Like to do something like Low1 did a years ago with relocating his gas cap/filler next etc to the rear drivers taillight section. Had a motorized actuator so the tail light pulls forward revealing the gas cap. Pretty darn sweet.

Yes it is. I had some other neat mods on that truck, but I will let some others post their creative mods first.

there was a guy over on dt that was doing something like that with the tailgate. but he was also having some fog lights that motorized out from under the truck for extra light in the back.

I wanted to do that lol think a old forum I was on, I posted the idea and they were like, why would you need to do that, trying to have a batmobile? I was like da fuq, it would be badass lol

one of the things i gonna do is once i get my hood and prerunner fenders im gonna make them all on piece and reverse flip it. like this only better cause it will be a dodge.lol

i also want to shorten the bed width wise all the way to where the wheel well humps are. then add 4th gen dually fenders with a wide tire in the rear.

Always thought it'd be a sick idea to have like a plexiglass floorboard for rock crawling so you could look down and see what you're up against
