$480 is the cheapest I've found Line-X standard here. UV was an additional $120.

If you have a Bullet Liner near you, look into them. Started by the founder of Line-X, their base product is equivalent to Line-X Premium. I was quoted $400. Haven't gotten it done yet though.

That's incorrect. Bullet's base product is not equivalent to LINE-X Premium. Bullet's base product is not UV protected and LINE-X Premium is UV protected.

Bullet was started by the Burtin family, but as previously mentioned, they just sold it off to Accella. By the way, I printed off Bullet's technical data sheets before Accella remove them from Bullet's website.

No Bullet dealers within 200 miles of me. Otherwise that would have been worth a look. There used to be a Rhino installer near me but it doesn't look like they are an authorized shop any more.

If you have a tonneau cover, then the UV is not needed. I have never gotten UV on any of my trucks with covers and fading was not an issue... Even without a cover, who cares if it fades, it is a truck bed, it is meant to be used as such...

Power wash it to clean it good

I recently got quoted $475+tax for line-x. I'll probably just stick with that bc the shop is 5 minutes from my house

I'd barter with them, my guy started out at $499 and then dropped to $450 after I asked about the price of a bed mat, he wanted to discourage me from buying the bed mat to tide me over for awhile. There's a little wiggle room on the initial prices.

You might want to check again. I've never heard of anyone paying $650 for standard black LINE-X. A color match is a different story. UV protected LINE-X is probably priced between standard and a color match.

Bullet (or any reputable bedliner brand) for $350 means they're spraying it the thickness of a piece of paper. 15 or 20 years ago, you could get a good bedliner for $350, but not anymore (thanks to the price of oil).

Just because you "never heard" does not make it untrue. There is another bed liner thread around here where people on Long Island, NY were paying in excess of $700 for a basic Line-X spray. A few others reported locales with higher prices also so it was not unheard off.

Line-X dealers seem to charge whatever they can get away with.

I paid $500 for line-x in my 6.5 bed. Thought that was pretty decent!

On another note, these trucks cost $30k - $60k. Isn't $500 a pretty small price to pay for protecting your bed? Not sure I would want to "cheap out" on something like that. At least with line-x there's dealers everywhere and a solid warranty.
