How many more week's are you thinking it will take wade?

jaycabral27, With the molds pretty much finished, the first set of samples will be run in about 10 days. If I am happy with how those turn out, then we can start ordering the mirror (glass portion), custom cut double back tape and also get the packaging layout finalized and ordered.

All that to say, is...it seems like it should be right around the corner...but for all this stuff to work together, it does take a bit of time. I think April is still the month where it will be available. Which...is not that many weeks away.

I am anxious too, and there is always the choice to cut corners to speed things up, but I absolutely will not do that. The Ram community deserves the very best and I will make sure this product is made to perfection.

Thank you for your interest and thank you for writing!

Hey, Wade. I know you are too far along with this but just an idea. Have you thought about just doing the glass without the frame? I have seen some custom ones before like that and they simply milled the edge of the glass so it is not sharp. It ends up looking exactly like the factory glass ones that you see on Ford, GM, etc. Anyways, just a thought.

Hunter99, although this sounds really good...this set is curved in each direction...so I am wondering how this would mate to a flat piece of glass?

This weekend I took a quick video showing the functionality of the Custom Fit Blind Spot Mirror.

I am very happy with the field of view as where the factory mirror leaves a blind spot, the Custom Fit Blind Spot Mirror picks up a vehicle in that space and keeps it there until you can visually see it next to you.

You can see a video I made with the following link:

I'll be emailing momentarily to get on the list for these Wade! Your phone holder is a great product (I've gotten a ton of comments on how convenient it is) and I have no doubt these will be also. Well done Sir!

Informal,

Thank you for writing, and thank you for the nudge! I get so busy that a nudge helps!

The first samples from the Molds were run last night and I got pictures this morning. To be honest, the pieces look amazing. There are two pieces that comprise the Mirror (basically a top and bottom and when put together, they sandwich in the glass (mirror). This construction should prevent the glass from ever coming out (as if you glued the glass to the surface of the base) and also be the most durable over time.

My manufacturing company is going to run a few more samples this weekend and send me the first prototypes from the molds on Monday. Next week (hopefully Wednesday or Thursday) I should have pictures to Post here that show the finished product.

In the overall scheme of things...I am still shooting for April as the date they will be available for purchase.

I can say...I absolutely love them on my truck. If you haven't had a chance, check out the video I posted a few Posts back. They look good (IMHO) and are highly functional.

Thank you for the nudge and again, thank you for writing!

Let me know when and I'll order a pair! Great work!

You got a thread for the cell phone holder too? Post a link?

RedNBlack...just exactly what Informal wrote. They will be available on Amazon, but I would like to add that for the first 4 to 5 weeks they will only be available on my website (Ram Truck Phone Holder - WadeStar Products)

The reason is because in the beginning I will have a limited quantity to sell until all of the blind spot mirrors will be manufactured. And...to make a long story short...if I start selling them on Amazon and I sell out, Amazon marks my seller rating down greatly...and they start dinging me $$.

So, until all my inventory gets here, I will only be selling on my website. And, I will let you all know when that happens.
