Hello everyone,

I have an update and although it is not the exact news I want to share, in the long run it is the best news.

There is going to be about a 15 day delay. After I got the latest samples, I was very happy with them...but yesterday I kept thinking that the design could be tweaked just a little more to give an even better fit. I am picky and I want everyone who buys them to have the best product possible. It is better to change things now than to have an inferior product.

My manufacturer is currently working on the prototype and once I sign off on it, they will make a whole new set of molds. It is expensive for me to have new molds made...but I couldn't sleep at night knowing this product could be made even better than it is now.

The good news is...I still believe an April delivery date is possible...but it will be the middle to late April.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I know that you all deserve the best product and it is my responsibility to make that happen!

A05GSHO, thank you for asking. Things are still going forward. We realized in the last design change that over the years (2010-2015) that Dodge /Ram made this mirror, they slightly changed the width of the trim around the mirror. You wouldn't notice it as the difference is under 1mm, but when designing an object to match the curvature of the trim...it can be the difference between something fitting and not fitting.

We decided to order 5 different OEM mirrors to see the variance. We are working on a design to make sure that the Blind Spot Mirror will fit great on all the mirrors.

We are working quickly to make sure that we still have the Blind Spot Mirrors finished by the end of the month (April).

I did send off a set of samples to a person who has been testing them for me, and they have reported that they've worked flawlessly. It is great to hear someone else reporting the same thing I've discovered using them for the past few months. All that to say...I too can't wait for them to be ready so you can all try them!

We are getting closer...I just received the first run of samples through the new molds and I am happy with how they've turned out.

Also, the packaging is finished and that is also ready to go into production.

Now I am working with my manufacturer to get on their schedule to go into full production. I am still shooting for April...most likely middle to late April in which I will have them ready to sell.

I might have to jump on board, also. Very nice job on the design! I have the small round mirrors currently. And, while they do work, I'm always wanting a little more out of them. These look like the perfect size for form and function.

BTW, I read some of the phone mount thread when you started it, but I had just ordered a mount. And, I couldn't keep up with the thread. That thing exploded! Congrats on the success of the phone mount!

A little update here....

Since I last wrote, we have gone through two different revisions. All minor stuff, but they are important for me to address as I want the product to be as perfect as it can be.

The last prototype is being made as I type this. Once this is finished and I sign off on it, the final modifications will be made on the molds...and then we start production.

I still have my fingers crossed that I will have inventory here at my warehouse by the end of April...if not, it will be the first week of May. It is getting exciting...and I can't wait to unveil the product to all of you!
