Pros and cons of installing a custom sway bar setup? Looking at an anti rock sway bar kit with a 45” wide bar. It would be possible to mount the bar to the frame immediately behind the tow hook bars and use their 16” long arms with custom bars to attach to our LCA. Heim on top and something similar to the suspension maxx links on the bottom? It’s mostly pipe dreams but after driving my truck around with no sway bar on the road I feel like I want something less stiff. I have bilstein 5100 currently with eibach springs sitting around 3” lift and driving with no sway bar actually was pleasant. The truck did not feel like it was diving into holes or sinking into the uneven road. Even speed bumps felt less harsh. Not sure if it’s just me but I was shocked. I’d like to keep some form of sway bar but feel the stock bar is to stiff for my liking.

Pulling this up from the grave, but I would love to do something similar. Did you ever find some quick disconnect sway bar links?

I did not. I ended up just doing some halfway custom sway bar links and I can just unbolt them super easy and fold them out the way. Look in my build thread. Honestly since I did that and made the stock sway bar level again it made my ride back to normal feeling instead of stiff so I never continued down the softer sway bar path
