Cut could, damage or harsh or neither?

So question, if you cut stock springs to
Front 1.5"ish
Rear 2" coil cut to 3.5"

Is that going to cause damage or harsh ride? Again newb on lowering so trying to find out from people who have actually fine this stuff.

Well cutting the springs would stiffen the ride, it would still absorb some but not as much as stock. The springs are made the way they are to perform a certain way, changing then would change the performance. You'd be better off spending the extra money into the proper lowering kit with new springs
