Cut springs???

I'm installing a MG 2/4 drop today(the deluxe spindle kit) and from all the pics i've seen it's not gonna drop it as much as I would like. Just looking for some feedback from any of you that's cut the springs to turn it into a 3/5 or so... Hows it ride? Any problem with it bouncing around? Any input will be apprecaited!

On fourth gens to make a 3/5 you have to cut springs only a 2/4 is offered for us

But on that note no it rides the same to me of course I have adjustable shocks but none the less the same ride and I cut drop springs so I doubt yours will ride different especially since your cutting less spring up front at least

Thanks for the info. I'll probably end up with some different shocks also when it's all said and done. I've cut linear rate springs before(03 cobra), which has no effect on the ride quality, but never messed with progressive rate and dont wanna jack up the smooth ride these new rams have too much.

Who frowns on cut springs,not me,the only ones i see frowning on them are the vendors selling spring kits.

You don't cut them with a torch anymore,that went out the window many moons ago,cut-off disc bud,works wonders
