What cutting wheels would anyone suggest for a Dewalt cordless angle grinder? Would be the type 27 (depressed center) version with a 4.5"/5" diameter. For basic use around my dad's farm. Thanks.
Brands?
Thickness?

Check dewalts "flex volt " line. I dont know if they'll have your size but I have some flex volt flapper discs that are some of the best I've ever used and they are designed for cordless grinders (which I dont have but still works just fine of my electric.)

Depending on what your cutting, for steel they make both a 4.5" & 5" cut off wheel rated for stainless steel, you want the 0.045" thick ones. The bore should be a standard 7/8" and the collar right angle grinder usually gets flipped over to clamp down on the thinner wheels.

Arbors are both 5/8 and 7/8 for Dewalt so check yours as 7/8 very well may be to big for yours, my Dewalt is 5/8. Also do not exceed the discs rated RPM or you could be in trouble. Never use a 18k max rpm disc on a 22k rpm grinder for example

I’ve got a scar on my right leg because a cut off wheel broke and nearly cut my shin bone into. 9 day in the hospital,2 surgeries,4 months to recover. Ohh and 1 missed hunting season
