So i have a 2002 1500 i recently replaced cap rotor plugs and plug wires. Been running just fine for the last 2 months until yesterday it decided to start running really rough. To the point i barley made it across the street to the parts store. I used there scan tool and it read there was a misfire on cylinder 5 and 8. So i decided to replace all the plugs because when i pulled them they looked really bad plus not one of them smelled like fuel. They smelled like a chemical of some sort. Anyways still wont run right. Now it wont start at all just cranks over but no fire. Has anyone had this problem before. Oh plus i dont think my fuel pump is coming on so i probably need to replace it as well. Or can this be the whole problem all together?

Well, if your fuel pump isn't working, that would be the place to start.

It might be the fuel pump relay or fuel pump regulator, is there an injector fuel rail check pressure with a pressure gage.
