2014 1500 hemi cylinder misfire, in 2019 all cylinders and cams were replaced with aftermarket parts. When I picked up the truck it had the famous hemi tick, never had that before. I told them I didn’t want it, so they replaced the parts 10 months later with OEM parts. I now have a cylinder misfire on 7 the code reads cam issues...sorry I don’t remember the exact code. I bought the lifetime warranty but they say with over 200k miles that’s null and void.....can anyone give me some ideas where to go from here please. The body is in great shape.

Which lifetime warranty? The Maxcare doesn't have a mileage limit, but does have a cost limit. The repair can't cost more than the current value of the vehicle.

No code will tell you its a cam Lmaoo It will just be a misfire. Any ways if the cam and lifters where already done Its prob not your issue have you checked your Coils Plugs Ect on that cylinder? If Not start there. If yes pull the valve cover and see if the rocker arms move up and down on that cylinder.

AI agrees with your dealer, I have no other info sorry for your troubles..

Chrysler's original "lifetime" warranty ended in 2018, but existing policies are honored for original owners, often covering up to 200,000 miles or 20 years; however, these are typically Limited Powertrain warranties, not bumper-to-bumper, and require strict maintenance adherence. For vehicles after 200k miles, you'll need a separate Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP) plan or third-party extended warranty, as the official lifetime plans are discontinued, though some dealers offer their own versions for new/CPO vehicles with specific limits

Inspect and compare the condition of the plugs in #7 & #5, then swap the plugs between cylinders #7 & #5.
Reset and read the codes again. If the misfire remains on #7, swap coil packs between #7 & #5.

Did the misfire move to cylinder #5 or remain on #7?
If the misfire condition moves to #5, the coil pack needs a rebuild or replacement.
If the misfire remains on #7, further investigation is required.

All that really matters is what OP's specific contract says but IIRC mine has no mileage or year limits - just the thing about the cost of the repair and the vehicle value. That said, they will weasel out of coverage if you haven't adhered EXACTLY to the maintenance.

I got a full engine replacement at roughly 10 years, 125K and they hassled me quite a bit with documentation for dumb things like registration. I had all service done at the dealer so they didn't have an avenue there but the service writer said without that (as in, doing oil changes, spark plugs, etc. yourself) it can be quite a battle.

Fwiw (and probably not what OP wants to hear) mine started with a misfire that couldn't be figured out/fixed. They tore into the engine and found metal shavings and that meant I got a new engine.

AI is stupid and gets a lot of it's "facts" from Reddit. I recently had it tell me a musician was alive and still performing while the source document had his death date. Think about that when considering how much credence to give it.

LIFETIME MEANS LIFETIME

Chrysler is the first and only automaker that offers a Chrysler Lifetime warranty with unlimited mileage. That means that your vehicle will be covered for as long as you own it.

Lifetime Maximum Care Plans offer mechanical coverage as specified to the named original purchaser of the contract, for the lifetime of that purchaser. The plan ends upon the death of that original contract purchaser or upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle. The plan ends even if the transfer occurs by operation of law, such as to a lien holder, family member through succession, or successor business.

Coverage Limit

It is important to realize that, should a covered component of the vehicle fail, the maximum benefit amount will be the total cost of the repairs per visit less the deductible, or the cash value of the vehicle, whichever is less! The cash value of the vehicle will be determined as current average retail value at the time of the covered repair as listed in the current NADA Used Car Pricing Guide. If at any time the repair costs for covered component(s) exceed the vehicle’s cash value, the final plan benefit will be Mopar’s payment of the vehicle’s cash value rather than the repair costs.

So if his "lifetime" is the Mopar one, it's like I said. No mileage limit, as long as the cost of the repair doesn't exceed the value of the vehicle he's covered.
