Yeah I recently installed a BDS 6 inch lift in my truck, I drove 2000kms 700 of them over badly potholed gravel roads to get to my destination, once I made it back to my hometown to start vacation I noticed a clunking in front end from slow speeds up to 60 kph.
I jacked up truck, wheel bearings are good aswell as balljoints everything's solid. What I did notice was a lot of play in passenger side cv shaft where it goes into front diff. The same shaft that had the little O-ring broke in it when I pulled shaft to install lift . I purchased the BDS lift thru my doge warranty work/ service garage up in Labrador where I live with the promise of no denied warranty ( great bunch to deal with)
My problem is what will my dealer here where I'm currently too, and that I purchased the truck from say about the lift. They sell BDS lifts on their trucks themselves but what if they try to void my warranty will that void it where ever els I go. I don't want to run the truck back 2000 Kms with a bad front end, it's in the middle of nowhere with no cell service literally in the sticks. What should I do?

Call them and ask them. I'm guessing if they install them then they won't say nothing.

I called when I made appointment but as soon as I mentioned lift I got the "oh well it could be your lift that's causing the issue but we can't say for sure unless we look " so now I'm like WTF do I do, there's no way they can pin it on the lift my CV angles are damn near perfect , a friggin levelling kit causes worse angles

unfortunately every dealer is different, when i had my old car it was modded to the gills, one dealer i took it to didnt care about any of the mods they still honored my warranty, then i went to a diff dealer when i was out of town and they denied me my warranty and i had to call GM and argue with them and it was big hassle.

If they sell them lifted trucks and your was bought lifted by dodge their should be a issue hopefully. Call the dealer you got it from and see if they can make a deal with that dealership.

It's all good, passenger side cv shaft was toasted but they blamed the lift but still covered me even though my cv angles are better then a leveling kits angles but I don't care as long as they were nice enough to warranty it. My lift was installed after I bought the truck from them still it's nice to get a truck repaired under warranty .
