Hard wiring a dash cam (fuse taps) doesn’t alter performance, are there any systems that could be damaged due to cam installation, would it void any warranty’s? Would it be up to the individual dealerships to decide? 2022 RAM 1500 Limited

Adding a dashcam if properly wired won't effect anything in/on the truck or the warranty of.

Each dealership is different. It all depends on how good they are at writing up the work to get corporate to approval and getting paid.

If they think they'll get reimbursed from Stellantis then they'll do the work.

If they don't think they'll get paid from Stellantis then they'll tell you it's not covered.

If they think they'll break stuff doing the work and they're going to have to pay for out of their own pocket then they'll tell you they're to busy, they don't have enough experience doing that job, or that they won't do it because they think they're going to break too much stuff to get it done.
