About 5 months ago I installed a Pruveeo F5 1080P Dash Cam with WiFi after I had someone break check me and I almost hit him, came within inches. And reasons like this is why I'm glad I did. I had my kids with me this day. If I had my other wheels and tires on we would have made contact

Nice save! I feel your pain, as a truck driver I deal with these near misses a lot that are caused by peoples total lack of ability to pay attention. It really sucks when your GVW is 154,000 and you have 2 trailers behind you.

Is reason I bought dash cam. The first video he bypassed the right lane to come over to yours. Bad drivers.

I have a dashcam in my truck and one in my wifes car. Last year we were coming home from our marina and were on a 4 lane. See a guy on a bicycle heading our direction and as we got closer he comes out into the middle of the highway heading right towards us. Bought the dashcams after that. Not sure what his intentions were but seemed obvious...lol

Towed my boat to the marina yesterday and about 2 blocks from my house a moron pulled right out in front of me at an intersection. I was only doing about 20 MPH but had to slam on the brakes and get the 9000lb boat stopped too...lol. I' will try to upload that video later today

I am a believer in DRL's. Seldom do I have an idiot that pulls out in front of me with them on. If you don't have them then add them. Especially if your hauling kids.

I have drl's. He just never looked. My truck is not small it's not hard to miss. And you can see that his view was not obstructed by any means.

In that guy’s defence... it is a Ford he’s driving so you know he’s not all there!

I said the same thing. He was more concerned about getting it moving then what was coming [emoji1787]

You've convinced me to get my Dash Cam sooner rather than later. Can't fix stupid, can only protect yourselves

DRL's. I would say you have done everything possible to dodge the idiots. I don't know why Ram doesn't make all their trucks standard with DRL's. I added KAD's lights to mine for just that purpose.

In my car that has really weak DRLs, I just always leave the HIDs in the on position, and agree it makes a huge difference when I see it in my rearview with someone following me in my old car. The Charger just has the LED strip things, but man those are really bright too, makes the car stick out big time.

My A119 V2 dashcam just arrived today, along with a 12V to 5V kit to tap into the rear view mirror. Tomorrow I just have to figure out which pins to tap in to.

It actually looks like you could have avoided the collision.

I get the guy was trying to squeeze in on you but it sure looks like you turned right and made the contact. I know he was coming/was in your lane but if you had time to hit the horn you had time to hit the brakes as well.

Sometimes not proving your point is better.

I ordered and installed a Thinkware 800 pro in the truck today. The truck has a shell and I didn't want to run the rear camera all the way into the bed. I don't think the cable was long enough to begin with. So I just put it in the back window of the cab. I'm surprised how well it records considering it has to go through 3 panes of glass.

It works so well I'm going to install one in the wife's Kia.

I'm thinking of adding a rear facing one. Since I can remotely access the camera from my phone I could use it as a "cargo" camera
