Hey everybody. I picked up a 2006 Ram 2500 hemi. It's a pretty cool old truck, 3.73 limited slip, heavy duty, etc. It's got some problems I am trying to work out. I have to double click the key unlock in order to start it without the alarm going off. Which is peculiar. I have confirmed it is the factory alarm. Additionally, the instrument gauge cluster is squirrelly, tach not working, oil temp needle under the peg. So my questions are -
1. What role (if any) does the instrument cluster play with the factory alarm?
2. Can anyone refer me to a reliable source to rebuild the cluster?
3. How can I just eliminate the alarm all together?
