Dash Rattle

All,

I've got a really annoying rattle in the dash - skip to 0:45 for the worst of it.

I was told it was from the defroster vent - and the source was really the junction of the vent to the HVAC box.

Now, I've pulled the radio, and now see two vents for what appears to be the defrost.



Anyone have the same rattle?

I don't have that rattle, but I see 2 plastic pieces connecting.
damned good chance that's your rattle. Does it have any give between the 2?

Hobby Lobbby or similar crafts store has 1/16" thick adhesive backed foam.
Works GREAT to isolating plastic on plastic connections.

You can also try stuffing a shim in between them and see if that shuts it up.
