Funny story...stopped by my local shop that does basically what Dave does. I wanted to get my window tint fixed so I went to him. The owner started talking to me about my truck, asking me if I bought it like this or if I did it all. I told him I bought it stock and built it.

Here is the convo

Owner "Were did you get all the parts from"

Me" Dave at DB Truck Customs"

Owner "I bet I could have gotten you a better deal"

Me "I bet not...how much could you get me the Air Dog for"

Owner - (tells me a price)

Me " Dave got it for me $100 cheaper...how much could you have gotten me those wheels for?"

Owner- (Tells me a price)

Me "Dave got them for me $200 cheaper...how much could you have gotten me the gauges for?"

Owner "whatever man...here is your quote for the tint"

Me "I'm not done playing"

Owner walks inside. haha

LOL funny. Theres no performance/mod shops around here. Everything I want I have to order and install myself. Just repair shops. Most won't even put on parts you buy else where and have them install them even repair parts. Sucks

Also even though I have yet to buy from Dave you don't have to guess how to get a hold of him at all hours of the day and night. He is the guy we can all trust and know he means well. My local people only want money and don't even like to do mods they like warranty and repair so they can **** people.

I agree with you on putting money into small business...even local ones. Thats why I like buying from Dave...he's not some big corprate douche bag that just wants money... I know for a fact he isn't in it to get rich. The money I spend and others spend go to him and his community.
