Dball for 2015?

Hi All,

Does anyone ahve experince with a Dball setup for a 2015 Ram? Truck has basic alarm, no proximity key, looking to add remote start.

Same as 13 & 14 but Dball no longer has 3x start. You have to go with the 4x10 unit now.

idatalink still offers it on their module. however i dont believe they have a t-harness.

i personally have never used the dball, but i have used the idatalink and its a very solid unit. never seen a module go bad.

If the 4x10 doesnt give you the ability to do the 3x lock button then the idatalink.

im a huge fan of idata i put modules in friends cars 7-8 years ago and still not a single issue

I think the biggest reason why many people did the dball method was there was a ebay seller that packaged the module and the t-harness together for like 100 i thought.

it was literally a 20minute install (with a beer or 2)

The 4x10 IS the replacement for the Dball same thing and uses the T harness. Just buy it from doug on ebay and call it a day. Straight and simple.

No worries. Its super simple. took me longer to route the T-harness than to get everything done. I extended the light hookup and the door one also, I didn't want the harness bundled under column like a rats nest.

Just an Update. 2014/2015 Dball(now 4x10) module wne t in problem free. Got it From doug on Ebay. Instructions were very confusing, after doing ti once i could easily have it done within 20 mins next time tho.
