New Key Fob - Proximity Issues

I have a new-to-me 2014 Ram Laramie that I added a new key fob to. Everything works (lock, unlock, remote start) EXCEPT the proximity unlock/lock. I've searched all over the forums and can't find any real resolution to the problem. If anyone has any tips or tricks, I would greatly appreciate it.

It cant be a aftermarket crappy ebay key OEM only had same issue with a few jeeps also seprate area to program that.

I still have one original key fob which works great with all functions. I did get the new fob from Amazon, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's having issues, although the reviews stated it worked great with Rams. If anyone has any suggestions to try, other than another OEM fob, please let me know. At least I have a secondary fob that mostly works.
