Well today I did the cheap mod and removed the RAM and Big Horn badges from the truck. Now it just needs a good wash and a wax.

Question on the tailgate Rams head. I believe I read this wasn't just a sticker like the others. Does it have a nut on the back side? I'm not going to fill the hole but might try some things with the emblem to be different. My tailgate has a bed cover screwed to it so didn't want to dig all the way in if it was a push pin style.

I'm pretty sure the ram head on the tailgate is just stick on, not positive but I'm pretty sure it is

Truck didn't have them when I got it. I'm guessing it didn't come with them as I doubt the previous owner had them removed....he was 90.

Well I guess tomorrow off with the Ram's head. I like cheap mods.

I've gotta remove those spears! Theyre starting to peal up and I can't be having a peaking RAM...... Unless its pealin rubber!

OFF with the head. So the Rams head is now gone. The adhesive on this was a bit different than the others but came it off with a little elbow grease.


I was a bit lazy so I only washed and waxed the tailgate.

i had recently taken mine off too i just flossed through the tape off the back of the badge and rubber wheeled the old left over tape off doors too its cool what a difference it makes
