I have a 2017 ram with a Cummings diesel 6.7 does this engine have a rectifier that could go bad both batteries go dead after letting the truck set for a few days has done it since new but has gotten worse over time. i’ve had this problem with my four wheeler and also my Harley Davidson changing the rec flyer in each of these corrected the problem wondering if the diesel has the same type of issues.

Both batteries are wired together (parallel), so if one goes south it will drag the other down with it. You need to replace them as a pair, otherwise you will have issues again. My OE batteries lasted a solid 5 years on my diesel.
