Does anyone ever here back from these endless surveys they send out? Got one from the dealer asking good or bad. Sent a full page email 8/11/2020 and added to it 11/14/2020. No reply. Did get a company asked survey asking if the dealer ever contacts me. Love the truck (2019 2500). Dealer leaves a lot to be desired. First new vehicle I have ever owned and first Ram. Have owned it a little less than 6 months and its been in the shop twice for warranty work 2 weeks each time. Only took 6 appointments to get in in twice. It didn't have a couple of options it was advertised with and I was told when I picked it up its not on the window sticker so I SOL. Funny the window sticker was not in it when I looked at it or when i bought it. Never offered to go over it either. When I picked it up the online add for it had been taken down by the dealer. I didn't take a picture of it, my fault. I guess never take the word of a new truck sales person. Looks like the last time I will ever use this dealer. I feel bad asking a dealer that I didn't buy from to do another dealers warranty work.

1) Never heard back from either the dealer or FCA regarding my purchase, no big deal IMO.
2) Don't feel bad for going to another dealer for warranty work, the warranty work is not the "dealers" but the company itself (FCA).
Prior to going to another dealer, I would talk to the shop manager to address any concerns you have regarding their work, perhaps they will help you out.
If they blow you off, by all means take to another dealer for work. Good luck on the Ram and keep Ram'in on.

Don't feel bad, it's just billable hours for the dealer.

Don't let it get it you. I never heard back from the dealer I purchased from (Texan CJDR of Humble, TX). No phone call after the sale to ensure all was well, no survey, nothing. The receptionist called to inform me the plates were ready to be picked up or would send them to me if I wanted as I'm fifty miles from the dealership. They got got the sale, I got the truck at a steal and life goes on...

As for warranty work, I have another CJDR dealer nearby who does fantastic work. No problem.

It’s been a few years since I’ve purchased my truck, do they still beg like dogs for treats, for a 100% satisfaction rating?

Yes, and I hate it. The surveys are meaningless.

My dealer is in constant contact with me.

  • How are things
  • Birthday card
  • Free this and that with service visits
  • the list goes on
As for the surveys, no... that is internal business and they are just making check marks. You might hear from a dealer or even the MFG on rare occasion or if the issue is "good or bad" enough
