Installed my tailgate assist today. Works like a champ no issues one I figured out nutsert. No binding or rubbing.

Why it's not factory installed i'll never know. Looks like a factory install dee zee did good on this product

I like mine too... just took a while to get used to the gate coming down slow so i have to wait for it. Great for the kids.

Now I run the EZ Down one and its crap compared to these Dee Zee ones
Ill be chucking it out and replacing it.
