I clay-bared mine a couple weeks ago and waxed it, I just use Windex with the clay bar, doesn't matter what you use, as long as it lubricates the surface, heck soapy water will also work. I use the Meguires clay bar, and Turtle wax hard shell, I also double coat the wax and use the Back to Black on the plastic trim. Looks pretty good!
I "try" to wax it every 6 months or so, including the door jambs. I guess I'm kind of ****! LOL

Most wax will only protect your paint for about 3-4 weeks, depending on whether your truck is garage-kept and how frequently you wash it. The one exception is Collinite 845, which protects for approximately 6 months. You can always use a spray detailer or a rinseless wash with Si02 to add a sacrificial layer over your wax to increase the longevity and give your truck added protection and extra gloss.

Quick question:
Since mine has decals/graphics on it, would using a clay bar damage the decals in some way?

Since it still has it's factory paint and decals (2008 model), that's a concern of mine about it.
The paint itself looks great and even has a shine as if it had been detailed recently by the way the paint surface looks when cleaned up - Almost as if it just left the showroom floor TBH.
