Hey everyone, I installed an Alpine ilx-w650 last year, and besides purchasing the center console aftermarket board to work with the head unit, it's been fantastic, with no issues.

Fast forward to today, I wanted to use my center console's USB port for Carplay, so I changed out the board with the aftermarket Maestro URam board. The lights on the board come on when the key is turned, and I can plug the phone into it to charge, but on my stereo I keep receiving "Device not Supported".

I feel like it isn't a wiring issue because I can get power to the middle console, but something is definitely holding me back from using Carplay.

Yeah, I don't think it's a USB issue.

I just used that USB port to upgrade the firmware on the stereo.

Just a quick update, I did a little more troubleshooting today and kind of went backwards.

Pulled the head unit out and plugged my iPhone cable into the back of the head unit and was able to connect to carplay.

Used a generic USB cable and plugged it into the headunit directly, and that worked.

So I tried using the USB mini-A connector that comes with the Maestro URam and it didn't work.

So it's definitely something between that and the center console hub.

Open to all ideas and opinions.
