Diablo tuner ?

I bought a 15 ram and of course I can't just plug a tuner in. I am interested in the Diablo I know you can switch computer out when taking to the dealer, but don't they do updates on the computer while it is in thus being in the factory computer and not the Diablo one.

Correct, they'd do the update to the PCM that you put back in the truck when you take the truck to the dealer.

What is the need to swap the entire PCM? Did something change on the newer ones to where they can tell it's been tuned at some point to void warranty? If you reset the truck back to stock before a dealer visit and they change the stock tuning on the pcm you'll just have a different stock tune saved in the tool when you upload the DSP tune again. At least that's how it worked on my old '06 and now my '11........

They haven't figured out how to break the newer Rams PCM encryption code yet. That's why you need to buy a new PCM. I wonder how the new recalls work when you swap the PCM. How do you do updates to the radio and stuff?
