Did I over pay for my Sport?

For the black pillars between the windows...is that just vinyl over paint? I have a max steel truck so it doesn't bug me much, but i'd rather it be painted than vinyl if it's that easy.

EDIT: Found some other posts that its painted underneath. AWESOME!

I was going to remove mine as well until I realized I use that part of the door to close it and don't want scratches showing up from rings or what have you. Wish the back doors had it too, lol.

I paid 46 for my Ignition Orange Sport. Sticker was 52. I thought that was fair considering the rarity of the truck.

its painted underneath, they stick it on after, some get it, some don't. The longer its on there the worse. my Co-worker has a 09 and his is faded and looks like complete ****, I can only imagine if he tried to peel it off it would probably look worse as the glue has been bonding to that paint for 6 years.

You may have paid extra due to the color. I don't know about "rare" but new and sought after is one way to put it.

Well advertised they only made 1000 in that color. I don't know how many 2015 Rams were made but 1 of 1000 would be considered "rare" to me.

Yes you overpaid we all did! But hey you want to play then you have to pay!
I just wonder what the recent spanking Fiat received will do to trade in and or resale of our Fiat trucks. This could have a serious impact on consumer confidence and steer a lot of folks away from Fiat trucks, hence value will drop alot.
