diesel preheat in process please wait message won’t turn off!

So I. Pretty sure I have a bad glow plug when I start engine it reads “diesel preheat in process please wait. Been doing this for about 8 months. Drives fine but the message stays flashing. I used to be able to get it up to temp turn the key off back on and message stops flashing. Now that the cold is here message rarely dose t come on. It’s just getting annoying and I have heard of horror stories of people snapping glow plugs off in the head. Please help. Anyway I can disable that warning if ? It’s a 2014 Ecodiesel. You could try replacing the glow plug control module, that can cause the light to flash alao
