I'm looking at trading in my PowerWagon for a 2500 with the 6.7l Cummins. I'm hoping for a Lariat or higher trim in a Megacab.

What are the year to year differences between 2016, 2017 and 2018? Is there anything I should be aware of?

Thanks for your input.

Far as I have seen they are mostly the same. Sometime after 2014 the center console in the front got an update and Ram added the off-road package in 2016. New grill in there somewhere also. I have not heard of major differences or changes during those years. Maybe some slight changes to max rated towing and horsepower/torque for the high-output 6.7 for the 3500s. Standard yearly bump for bragging rights and measuring contests. For sure nothing that would have me go trade my 14 mega-cab in for a new one.

Hopefully some other members can confirm or dispute my information.

Pretty much the same, maybe a slight difference in the 8.4 features, but not enough to matter.

Same truck between those years. The only change I can think of is the 2018 got the new updated 8.4 radio with car play and Android auto.
If you start dipping down to the 2015's and below there were more changes.

Thank you all for the input. I was thinking there wasn't much difference. Glad to have that confirmed.

Biggest differences are the 2018's got Android Auto and a revised grill.
