2012 1500 SLT 5.7L 187k.. I’m not sure when the diffs were last serviced, could be have never been as I’ve only had the truck the last 37k miles but would servicing them hurt anything since there’s a chance it’s been so long without?

Would it hurt anything? If you're just talking about changing the gear oil I don't see why it would?

If you don't know I'd definately change it. For the money it's a good investment. When is the last time you had your t case oil changed? Im a crazy strong Beleiver in fresh oil saving all of your moving parts!

Definitely a good idea to change it. If you're asking about hurting anything like with an old tranny running the same fluid it's not the same. The rear-end parts aren't nearly as sensitive as the internals in an auto-tranny.

This is my t case oil at 15k miles. I'm very hard on my t case and have the 44-44 auto case which likes good fluid..
Anyways amsoil ATF at 15k miles of very hard use. T case never had any issues with regular oil changes.
