I know out back the 2500 6.4 is 11.5 14 bolt. What size is the front? Also anyone know if it has a drain plug on the front diff? I know the rear doesn't, gonna change the cover when I swap the fluid. It's spitting snow out side and freezing... Don't really want to go climb under and look. Thanks for all the input fellas.

So I knows it's a 9.25... Anyone know on the drain plug?

I'm fairly certain the rear diff on a 2014 2500 with a 6.4 hemi is 10.5", not 11.5". Only the Power Wagons (and the Cummins) get the 11.5".

Front diff is a 9.25" throughout all years/models though. Definitely no drain plug in it either though. Just a basic cover like what's on the back.

All engines get the 11.5 rear as of 2014, the duallys get a 11.8" axle though. All models get a 9.25 front. Neither front or rear gets a drain plug. In my opinion you are better off without a drain plug so you can inspect everything and clean the magnet too.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew all 2015's had the 11.5" but didn't know it started back in 2014 already. Good to know :waytogo:

I don't know about you guys but my build sheet said I had an 11.5 rear but it turned out to be an 11.8 when I was doing my gear swap. Don't ask me how but the 11.5 4.56 gear set didn't fit. I have no idea

No, you have an 11.5. Your problem was the pinion requires an adapter to fit aftermarket pinion bearings, if they would have used factory parts there would have been no problem. I didn't figure out the pinion adapter until a power wagon owner went to do a gear swap and ran into the same problem.
