I have no problem until it gets nearly full, THEN it's a slow process filling completely full. HELP!

Could be a clogged charcoal filter, when gas backs up fill pipe it overflows into canister and then causes pump to shut off. This may happen from continually clicking gas handle to try and get to even dollar amount or trying to "top it off".
