I thought I would post up a few pictures of a license plate relocation bracket I made. I had been looking for one after replacing my front bumper and they were either universal or $200+ for something fancy and motorized. My truck is a sport so the front bumper is probably a bit different from some of the other models. I just got a piece of 1/4" x 2" flat stock at Lowe's and welded up a few pieces. I made the bracket into two pieces so it could be disassembled. I slid the interior bracket in from behind the bumper and bolted it to the bumper support bracket. I also welded a couple nubs onto the upper bracket so it wouldn't try to rotate. The 1/4" stock was definitely overkill but I'm hoping it will last a while. The only movement is the bumper support bracket flexes a bit, so I might need to find some way to reinforce it a bit. Hardware was random stuff from my bolt bin but all holes were 1/4" that I drilled. My only complaint is I think the plate looks a little funny that low but I'll learn to live with it.
