i posted this in another thread, but if you have an oreilly's auto store near you, they have plasti dip closed out for $2.37/can.
cant order it online or have it sent to a store, but if its in stock, its dirt cheap.

from what i have seen it holds up good. Just don't hit them directly with a power washer

I did this on my truck yesterday and it looks great! The black rims I want don't come out for my Ram until the end of the year and this will get me through until then!!

How does this stuff hold up when going through automatic car washes? I would hate to spend the time and money just to have it come off going through the wash!

Not from what I've seen....if you don't like it you can pull it off. Sorta like white glue on your fingers lol...

it actually makes it shinier, i had to redo my rear bumper cause some engine oil got on it and bubbled it peeled of the plasti dip and it was way shinier than when i first put it on kinda weird lol. but yea holds up pretty good, scratches pretty easy, if you wanna be an avid offroader with these i wouldnt recommend it, just save the money and powder coat em. also for badges you dont have to be careful when you peel it off just literally peel it and it wont peel of the emblems, you can check out my build thread if you want http://www.ramforum.com/f17/build-camoram-20110/

Menards shows the aerosol Plastidip for $5.98 a can but says must buy in a case of 6 which would be fine.
