I don't mind the looks of them, the tires are a bit aggressive for my liking. I would of went with more of an all season tire myself, but we're all different. A friend of mine has almost the same set up on his Ram. Truck looks good with your set up.

I was really into these wheels when I got them but my doubts have been setting in. Just not too sure about them anymore. Sort of wished I went with something more traditional like a classic D window steel wheel design (that's the Jeep guy in me).

I've been looking to go up to 35s but I'm afraid they will poke too much and look goofy (these are 11.5" wide and 35s will be about 12.5" wide).

What's everyone's thoughts on them? Also could I run a 35x10.5 on a 10" wide wheel?View media item 28862View media item 28864View media item 28863View media item 28861
NOPE, sori not big on solid black wheels of any kind/style. They do nothing for the truck appearance. Also while the offset seems small just doesn't look right, some do okay, most do not. But it's your truck and it should be whatever you like.

I have 20x10 -18 offset on 35/12.5R20. Rubbed on front fender liners for about 15 minutes. Utility knife fixed that. Definitely needed flares to help with the road crap being thrown up. Lift are Bilsteins at 2.8, Bils in the rear with Airlift 5000’s and a Zone 1.5” body lift.

ICON 2.5 (ended up being a 3" of lift in front and 1.5" in rear) Ar202 black wheels 17x9 instead of 20x9 and 35x12.5r17 Falken Wildpeak M/Ts. -12 offset, anymore I wouldn't like and they would rub, as is they're perfect. And you can't beat the ride quality and road manners of this set up.20200208_181406.jpg 20200208_102612.jpg 20200207_185244.jpg 20200208_125650.jpg

Nice tires and wheels. I think a pair of bushwacker fenders flares would look great that would cover the offset tire. Flares look great and will keep the side of the truck clean

What matters most is your opinion. I can say all day long doesn’t look good. But that shouldn’t matter. Love it because it’s your own. Peace ✌️

I had flares on my 04 3500 QCSB but they eventually rub the paint off between the flare and the body and then it opens it up for the possibility of corrosion, so I opted out this time. Just have to do more washes. Because they're not -24s with 37x13.5r17s they don't spew too much out on the sides.

The black wheels look OK on the white (and other light color trucks) but I don't think they look very good on the darker body colors. To us old timers, black rims just look like the hubcaps fell off. Had the same reaction from another "old guy" just the other day.

Hey I’m an old guy and I personally like the look of your rig. It looks aggressive and I think the black rims compliment the blue paint. I know opinions are like butt holes but I’d be happy with what you have. Just sayin’

I like the look that you have now. I think it would look very nice to add some fender flairs painted to match your truck.

I hate post like these!
Why?
It's YOUR truck, don't let other people influence that.
Did you buy the truck to please the members here or for yourself?
Either you LIKE or don't like what your wheel/tire setups... go with that.

Not that much into wheels, the only thing my rims have to have is shiny metal (chrome or polished aluminum). Not a fan of black rims, but its your truck :)

Honestly I don't like these responses. As I stated in my post, I was on the fence about them and wanted some feedback from others. Sometimes having others insight helps you make decisions. I'm not doing anything to please other people. I'm getting others ideas so I can use that information to formulate my own opinion and plan for the truck.

Just take those with negative comments with a grain of salt. Don't waste your energy on them. They are everywhere and can't be avoided. Take the positive and use it. Forget the rest.
