Does anyone know what this connector is?

This is a 2005 Ram 1500. connector is underneath the vehicle where the driver seat is it's about three and a half feet of wire so it goes into the engine bay and that's what it looks like. Zoom in please

Is there any mating connector within it's reach? Looks grimy, like its been disconnected a while.
Follow it in to the engine bay and try to determine where it goes. Get a factory wiring diagram to help.

Tells me the body has been off before for whatever reason. There is a plug somewhere for it, just where is the question
