Well I traded in my 2008 Ram 1500 (The Orange Fury)


And a month ago I bought a 2013 Ram 1500 Sport Crew Cab AKA The Stormtrooper!

The list of mods yet to come is huge, but things will slowly get crossed off the big list.

Got some more stuff done. Tinted my tails and third brake light. For some reason they didn't turn out glossy like I wanted. If anyone can give me some pointers on how to fix that it'd be appreciated.
My process was
Wetsand 1500,
rubbing alcohol to clean,
spray 4 coats of niteshades
spray 3 coats clear
let dry 3 hours
wetsand 1500
Meguiars ultimate rubbing compound the hell out of them, but still no shine.

Oh and also redid my front emblem, the plasti dip was peeling so I used Krylon fusion gloss black paint for plastic and hit it with some clear, looks WAY better.

Yeah, I originally wanted to go the JJ route, but I couldn't be without my lights and those 2013 LED tail lights are stupid expensive to buy another set. So decided to give my own a whirl.

Nice lookin truck. I'm a bit plexed by your tails. My thought it inproper time between coats. Give them a week or two to get nice and out gassed. Hit them really lightly with ~6-800 grit, then re-clear them. Thin first coat, right after it flashes, go with a fairly heavy coat of clear. You might need 2 decent coats of clear, but I kind of doubt it. Just make sure you're within the 'recoat' window (check the can).

I've gotten super deep gloss from a can of Krylon clear, so I know it can be done.

Well some big changes happened.

Got a 6 inch RCX lift put on, 295/65R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers, 20x9 custom painted Rock star 2 rims and fender flares.

Thanks guys. And yeah for the grill it'll be getting swapped for a black mesh grill once someone makes a full on shell and grill that doesn't cost like 800 dollars.
