The other day I decided to lean forward and replace my stock battery with an AGM one before it died. Once I start, however, I sometimes have difficulties stopping.

That battery replacement turned into:
- ordering new washer fluid jets
- ordering a new DeeZee tailgate assist to replace the knock-off one I originally bought that **** the bed
- park brake service to release the stuck drivers side cable
- noticed the drivers side rear caliper piston was seized which lead to this (pics below)

Anyway, all this got me wondering if anyone else is using their time off to get some truck maintenance in.

Cheers guys, Happy New Year

Ive been thinking about installing a hot spot for the kids but data packages are outrageously priced in Canada. For now I think I’ll stick with downloading a few movies on the tablet before we take off.

I have started assembling the parts I need to install a basic overhead console with just lights. But won't get it done until later January. I almost pulled the trigger on seat covers, but Katzkin and the like are just too expensive, and I haven't found covers that I like that allow me to order my plain back bench one as well. And I will probably Fluid Film my truck in the spring for the first time.

I ordered a lumber support seat cover. I’m also getting part numbers together to retro-fit factory lumbar support into my seats.

Bought inner and outer belt weatherstrippings, windshield moldings, roof moldings, cowl panel, plastic interior pieces, glove box and a storage bin lid, the Ram is going to sleep until June then all these pieces will go on before the Ram is used on the road in July.

I just added a power passenger seat with heat and lumbar, front footwell led lights from a "15" Laramie. Working on getting the heated rear seats out of the same truck along with the rear footwell lights, and the wire harness for the heat. Already took the switches off the rear of the console.

The seat took longer than entisapated. The seat back on the replacement was trapazoided from the devastating accident the Laramie had been in. Took about 45 min of slaming the top left corner into the driveway to square it up and to strighten up other areas before putting it back together.

Just finish up installing the upper glovebox door and latch along with snapping the glovebox case into the opening.
Plus I already had the glovebox light from the hood light kit install.
