Doing some detailing in the bed

Maybe this is interior? lol

I have a short 60" wide box to house some stuff in the bed. I had the outside painted at a shop in body color then I sprayed the inside in gunmetal grey to match the wheels and hood stripe. I hate that you can see the small dents in the lid but I'm not getting into bodywork on the inside of a toolbox. lol

I just wanted it neat and clean for my 3 gallon water/**** tank, Viair 480C compressor and 5 gallon tank.

Where did you source this box? I'm quite fond of the idea of having some lockable storage in the bed. I'd have to get mine lined black to match, but I like how out of the way this sits.

They're called 5th wheel boxes. Several companies make them. They're about 11" tall vs whatever a full size chest box it.
I had to modify it to fit our super short bed. I cut out the front corners and tig welded them back in after I flipped them side to side.

Looks good. What do you think about putting carpet on the inside of the lid. The carpet would match the Bedrug and hide those dents.

I was thinking more along the lines of only 1/2 opening the lid at shows so you just can't see it. lol

it look great in there...i would do a plexi glass top so you dont have to open it at car shows or any thing like that...my opinion
