Dont Know Which Headlights to go with

Few weeks back I tried installing these headlights gen 2 2500 style ,they didnt work so I returned them, at the time didn't think I could get the security bypass harness need for Alfobd to work in my truck, but low and behold it came back in stock, so now the harness should be here in couple days, so was thinking about giving them a 2nd shot... But tonight i Installed one of the 4th gen projector style headlights and it worked. Don't know if should stay with the ones I know works or the gen2 2500 style that I really like, hoping Alfaobd will solve the problems I had with them... don't know what to do
