I haven't painted the Ram handles but I have on other vehicles. It is definitely doable. Proper prep work is the key.

Painted the textured black plastic ones? You would definitely want adhesion promoter. AND, if they are to look descent, you'd want to paint them off the car. At that point you should just order color matched ones. 1 can of 2k clear alone is what, $35. Adhesion promoter ~25, primer $20 (automotive not rustoleum) ram wants some crazy amount like $35 for the base coat rattle can, or 20 ish from your local auto paint shop in a rattle can. Sand paper, good tape, scuff pad, etc ~ $15. And if you get a run....oh boy! Especially when you find out how fun it is to remove each handle. Good times.

Buy painted handles. By the time you are installing the first one you'll be very happy you bought pre painted. Omg. Its an adventure lol

How much are painted ones from Mopar?

Mopar, a lot. Third party mopar vender, not horrible. Ive had good luck with this site. Mainly because of its life time warranties on many items. Bundled I think all 4 would be cheaper than 4 touch up paint pens. I could be wrong.
