How do you swap the black trim piece between the two doors and install it on another door?
I swapped out a front door on my truck with one from a salvage truck and it doesn’t have the black piece.
I want to take it off of my damaged door and put it on the donor door. The piece I’m referring to is the piece between the windows.
I would post a picture but I can’t figure out how.

Don't quote me on this, but i think i've read somewhere that it's glued on.
If it is you could try carefully heating it with a heat gun or hair dryer and see if you can work it loose

I am a chrome guy, so I made mine shiny with aftermarket stainless steel
It just 3M type sticky tape tape, I just go a corner pulled out and slowly pulled it off, it was the standard red paint under the black trim,

While I was at it I add stainless trim on lower windows where your arm rests when window is down

I suppose all you blackout guys are all thinking I am nuts

You may be able to restick it on if you are careful to get started straight
Been 10 yrs, so not sure how good it was after I got it off, I was not saving it

I’ve been reading on a FB group that most people say it’s removable but not reusable. It’s just tape, so I guess I’ll be buying new from Amazon.

It is in fact just plastic 'tape'. I bought new ones for my truck, and decided to remove them and leave them off.

It's like a vinyl wrap...find a wrap shop near you, and they will have something that they can do, will look OEM, and last. I need to replace my front passenger window and belt due to scratches. I want darker(legal) tint on the front window, and was thinking about changing the matte to a gloss black to make it look seamless.

I can tell you, it's much stronger than a vinyl wrap. The adhesive they use is a monster to get off.

I’m not going to try to remove it. I’ll just order a new set from Amazon even though I only need the one for my right front door.

They are pretty impossible to remove in one piece. You will need heat gun and it will get stretched and most likely tear. The ones on Amazon are junk and nowhere near the same thickness and most on there are just enough to cover the pillar but not wrap around like the factory vinyl. I ordered all 4 oem from mopar parts online. They weren’t a ton of money.
