Hello all, first time poster. Currently working on replacing all four door speakers, along with adding sound deadening.

While removing the inner door panel on the driver side front, I broke the plastic bracket for the door latch…

My thoughts are since the latch gets bolted back to the door, this will not be an issue and I don’t need to replace the bracket. However I wanted to hear y’all’s opinions or experiences with this. TYIA.

Can you back out the shot and post it? I know what I'm looking at but having a hard time picturing it's effects (if any).

I just replaced my window regulator carrier panel and my latch presenter (bracket) broke as well, in the same exact spot as yours broke. It was a bit brittle and broke putting it back in. As long as you leave the part of it attached to the latch itself, you should be fine. There is some cable hold downs on it, at least for the door handle. I put mine back together, just taking out the part that sits in the carrier plate and leaving the part on the latch assembly and it works fine.

I did order a new one since it will bother me knowing it is broken. Part # 5165719AA

Got it off of E-Bay. It shows as only for a 2022, but, the Mopar sites all list it for 2011 and up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/405875506593
