Hi, I have a 98 Ram and I have tried to look it up, but I can’t seem to find a thread with a similar problem. If I missed it, please redirect me.
So my 98 has automatic door locks on it but they do not work. I have to use my key or push them manually. When I use the switch, both doors have a loud sound (like they are trying to) but neither doors unlock or lock. It might be the actuators but it seems odd that both are out at the same time. Maybe it is just a coincidence or another problem. The actuators are about $70 each so I was wondering if someone else also had this problem before I find the money to try it out. Thank you for your time.
